Key areas of accountability:
Shipping team management.
Logistics service quotation collection.
Shipping team monthly report.
Logistics service supplier management.
Collect marketing information and optimizing project.
Monthly Margin report.
Control the actual freight within freight budget.
Propose an annual logistics budget for activity, and ensure that it is adhered to
Optimise relations between the function and the platform team.
Establish and monitor the management chart for the function.
Manage workload, organize and optimize services and staff.
Coordinate and prioritise the action of all employees involved.
Guarantee function internal/external customer satisfaction.
Promote team autonomy.
Manage the continuous improvement and development of the flow function.
Based on the objectives of activity, prepare action plans and coordinate the missions of team in a coherent manner.
Conduct annual performance reviews, set the objectives of employees, including functional staff, then ensure deployment all the way down the hierarchy.
Support HOD for related project.
Qualification:
Hold a Bachelor degree on Business Administration/Study or equivalent.
10+ years’ experience in transportation/distribution/Import & Export field/ 3PL company management; 5+ year management experience.
Good interpersonal relationship, communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English and with hands-on common PC application software.
