What will you do at PSS?

1. • Independently develop the mechanical aspects of complete products for PSS APAC ranging from a loudspeaker driver to a complete sound solution.

Key Responsibilities

1. • Creative design and development of the automotive loudspeakers/products according to customer specifications and within the timeframe of the project planning.
   • Responsible for timely delivery of the required documentation of mechanical during development & report project development results and outputs to the local or global project manager.
   • Interact and communicate with acoustical & electrical development engineers and global project team members when designing the mechanical aspects of loudspeakers and sound product.
   • Interfacing with external suppliers on technical issues to create a pro-active involvement of the suppliers.
   • To release mechanical parts and to ensure that technical specifications are met.

What do you bring to PSS?

1.Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in automotive loudspeaker or related product design
  Proficient in Creo (Pro/ENGINEER); CATIA is a plus
• Experience with PTC Windchill preferred; COMSOL Multiphysics is an advantage

2.Expertise/Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of plastic & metal components and related manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping, tooling, cables, foam)
• Solid experience in DOE, DFM, DFMEA, GD&T, and tolerance stack‑up analysis
• Good drafting and dimensioning skillsHands‑on experience in part approval and technical problem‑solving
• SQC knowledge is a plus

3. Language skills: 

• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
