What will you do at PSS?

Independently develop the mechanical aspects of complete products for PSS APAC ranging from a loudspeaker driver to a complete sound solution.

Key Responsibilities

1. • Creative design and development of the automotive loudspeakers/products according to customer specifications and within the timeframe of the project planning.
   • Responsible for timely delivery of the required documentation of mechanical during development & report project development results and outputs to the local or global project manager.
   • Interact and communicate with acoustical & electrical development engineers and global project team members when designing the mechanical aspects of loudspeakers and sound product.
   • Interfacing with external suppliers on technical issues to create a pro-active involvement of the suppliers.
   • To release mechanical parts and to ensure that technical specifications are met.

What do you bring to PSS?

1. Academic/Professional Qualification:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

2. Working Experience:

• minimum 6 years’ experience in product design of automotive loudspeakers or products
• Must in using Creo (previously Pro/ENGINEER) as design tools
• Experience in using CATIA will be added advantage.
• Experience in PTC Windchill 10.1 but preferable.
• Experience in using COMSOL Multiphysics simulations will be added advantage

3. Expertise/Skills:

• Good knowledge and experience of plastic tooling, metal stamping, plastic injection moulding, cable, foam, label printing technique and manufacturing processes pertinent to product design.
• Proven solid working knowledge on Design of Experiments (DOE) and also DFM
• Good in drafting, dimensioning, tolerances
• Strong knowledge in DFMEA, GD&T and Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis.
• Knowledge in SQC will be added advantage.
• Proven solid analytical skills on products and hands on at solving technical problem with Quality Tools.
• Hands on part approval processes

4. Language skills:

• Fluent in English (both writing and verbal) and Mandarin is a must.
