What will you do at PSS?

As a Purchasing Project Leader, your mission is to empower PCP teams by mobilizing experts in sourcing high-quality materials that align with our global PSS goals. You are committed to delivering exceptional value through fostering strong stakeholder and supplier partnerships and ensuring timely availability of internal and external resources. By combining market insights with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness, you support innovation and drive success in PSS product development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Purchasing and SQE organization in Product Creation Process (PCP) core team.
• Organise and lead project kick-off and milestone review meetings with Commodity Managers, R&D and SQE.
• Ensure Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) of project sourcing materials.
• Coordinate availability of all needed specifications for a smooth sourcing project.
• Manage supplier nomination in line with existing PSC process so that supplier selection decisions are in line with project specifications and PSS goals.
• Work closely with global selected suppliers on design optimisation, cost competitiveness and timely material availability.
• Coordinate resource availability for production trial runs in multiple global PSS production sites.
• Administer design change procedures during Product Creation Process.
• After project has been fully finalised, perform handover to PSS mass production organisation.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Monitor purchasing project performance by maintaining a detailed project component status overview on QCD topics.
• Regular reviews with program managers to find out key issues and support requested from purchasing.

What do you bring to PSS?

• Passion for industry
• Academic Qualification: Bachelor / Master
• Working experience: minimum 5 years (preferably in purchasing and/or project management)
• Expertise/Skills: MS Office, ERP-software (SAP)
• Language skills: English
