We are looking for an HR Manager for our site in Esslingen with 15-month limited contract.

What will you do at PSS?

You have the overall responsibilities from HR perspective for PSS Esslingen, including recruitment & selection, training & development, retention, compensation & benefits, relevant labor law compliance, and social relations.

You work with people across all levels of the organization and external parties, leading a team on HR daily operations and HR related projects. Decisions are made with professional knowledge and have directly impact on the HR department of the company. Tasks can be very different and require prompt and accurate judgment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Competence Management, Training & Development
    • Co-define and implement training plans to ensure that the employees have competence to take up their responsibilities.
    • Coordinate with managers to follow up on succession plan.
  • Recruitment & Selection: Manage end-to-end recruitment process and ensure resources are in line with the personnel plans of our organization.
  • Appraisal & Remuneration: Manage salary administration, benefits enrollment, and annual performance appraisal process.
  • Communication: Coordinate and/or contribute to communication projects and initiatives (town meetings, company journals, emails...).
  • Employee Engagement
    • Serve as primary point of contact for employee concerns, conduct investigations, and mediate workplace conflicts.
    • Conduct annual employee survey.
    • Take care of internal communication and company events.
  • HR Policy Alignment
    • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local legal requirements. Contribute to the worldwide HR policy by participating in HR platform meetings and telephone conferences. Play an active role in bringing the HR process within PSS to a higher level.
    • Make sure all local policies are in line with global policies.
  • HRIS Management: Oversee HR information systems & HR KPIs, ensure data accuracy, and generate analytics reports for leadership.

 

You perform the above tasks in line with the PSS Code of Ethics and the health & safety, quality, security, and sustainability policies. For the environment (integrated in sustainability), explicit attention should be given to the risks and opportunities identified in the environmental aspects analysis for the department.

What do you bring to PSS?

  • Fluent in English and German
  • Degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • Experience in managing diverse HR topics and audits in automotive industry
  • Global exposure, experience in international company
  • In-depth knowledge of German labor law and employee relations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, strong in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and planning
  • Good knowledge and practice of MS office software, HRIS (experience with SAP SuccessFactor is a plus)
